EASTER WEEKEND

With Easter a week away, our bakery wants to ensure you have all your gluten-free goodies and dinner rolls to celebrate.

Easter this year falls on April 1st, but don’t be fooled! We will be open our Sunday business hours 9am-2pm, and we will additionally make an Easter special available exclusively on our Brunch Menu for Easter Sunday. Details on the special brunch item to come (but start getting excited for challah bread pudding…).

For our Easter Holiday Menu, we have some classic New Cascadia Traditional favorites to offer, like our lemon yogurt cake and lemon linzer cookies. Orders can be placed now-Thursday, March 29th. Orders can only be picked up March 30th-April 1st, Easter Weekend.  With any special order, we require at least 72-hours notice and full payment is required at time of order placement. If you choose not to place a special order, we will still make our Easter Menu items first come first serve during Easter Weekend. We strongly recommend placing advance orders to secure your holiday cookies, rolls & more.

What’s on the menu?

Hot Cross Buns $4.25 each, $22 5 Pack

Our brioche dough that we use for our cinnamon rolls with dried currants, topped with icing in the shape of a cross

Ingredients: Butter, brown rice flour, Millet flour, tapioca starch, Milk, eggs, dried currants, sugar, yeast, salt, xanthan gum, orange zest. Topping: powdered vanilla extract

Vegan sugar cookies (Bunnies & Chicks) $1.75 each

Ingredients: White rice flour, sugar, earth balance (palm fruit oil, canola oil, olive oil, salt, water, sunflower lecithin, lactic acid, annatto extract), tapioca starch, apple sauce (apples, water) baking powder (sodium acid pyrophosphate, bicarbonate of soda, non GMO cornstarch, monocalcium phosphate), xanthan gum, salt, imitation vanilla (water, alcohol, vanillin, other artificial flavorings, citric acid), lemon zest.  Icing: powdered sugar, liquid glucose, rice milk, vanilla extract. Natural food coloring.

Lemon Linzer Cookies $3.50 Each

Similar to a shortbread cookie in flavor. Two cookies sandwich our lemon filling for a soft and delicious treat.

Ingredients: White rice flour, sugar, earth balance (palm fruit oil, canola oil, olive oil, salt, water, sunflower lecithin, lactic acid, annatto extract), tapioca starch, apple sauce (apples, water) baking powder (sodium acid pyrophosphate, bicarbonate of soda, non GMO cornstarch, monocalcium phosphate), xanthan gum, salt, imitation vanilla (water, alcohol, vanillin, other artificial flavorings, citric acid), lemon zest.

Lemon juice, egg, sugar, salt, butter, cream

Lemon Yogurt Cake $20 each. Serves 10.

Ingredients: White rice flour, tapioca starch, brown rice flour, potato starch, sugar, lemon Juice, yogurt (Grade A pasteurized milk and skim milk, Kosher gelatin, vitamin A palmitate, Vitamin D3 and live active cultures (S. thermophilus, L. bulgaricus, L. acidophilus, Bifido. Lactis, L. rhamnosus, L.casei.)), Safflower oil, eggs, baking powder (sodium acid pyrophosphate, bicarbonate of soda, non GMO cornstarch, monocalcium phosphate) lemon zest, salt, baking soda.

Soft Rolls $1.25 each, $6.75 6 pack

These rolls use the same recipe as our Challah.

Ingredients: water, millet flour, brown rice flour, egg, honey, salt, xanthan gum, yeast, olive oil

Dinner rolls $1.25 each, $6.75 6 pack (previously called our Rustic Rolls).

Ingredients: water, gluten free whole grain flour(millet, brown rice), tapioca flour, xanthan gum, salt
