Back to School!

Summer is winding down and another glorious Autumn is winding its way to our doorstep. This is the time to enjoy the final fruits of Summer, have the big garage sale you’ve been thinking about and gear up for the back to school hoopla that is sure to follow Labor Day’s waning festivities.
Well, we are here to help make this season go as smoothly as possible by offering delicious, gluten-free lunch box breads and treats as well as some exciting new additions to our menu. Along with fresh fruits and veggies, fuel your family with the best tasting, most nutritious gf bread out there! Our breads are free of potato starch and full of fantastic whole grains like sorghum and teff. If you haven’t tried making a sandwich with one of our breads, this is your chance. Experiment with our Teff, Seeded or Honey Gold and let your family decide what they like before the first bell rings!
Don’t forget to add a little something special to the lunchbox, either. Brownies, cupcakes and cookies will help to brighten your student’s first day back to school.
We are always working on new menu items and will be featuring some great additions this fall, so come on in and see what we’ve made just for you.
Thanks from the cast and crew of New Cascadia Traditional.

Changes to our Lunch Menu

Hello lunch crowd, I want to inform you of our decision to stop making sandwiches as of today.
After careful consideration about the viability of our lunch menu, we have concluded that it is not financially feasible to continue to offer sandwiches.

We realize that this will disappoint some of you, and we agree that the sandwiches were terrific. We are sorry about this inconvenience, but the reality is that we need to make decisions that will help us grow our business and the sandwich option was not helping us reach this goal.

We will continue to offer pre-made sandwiches as we cycle through some of our ingredients, but the option to make your own sandwich will no longer exist, starting today. Once we have exhausted our stock of ingredients we will cease to offer sandwiches as a lunch option.

Pizzas and salads will remain on the menu and we hope you will continue to enjoy them. As always, we will keep working to create an exciting and delicious menu to give you the best gluten-free items we can create. We appreciate your continued support.

Thank you for your understanding,

Teresa and Chris

Gluten-Free Pies, Hamburger Buns & New Seasons Market

We will be CLOSED on July 4th in observance of Independence Day.

We are excited to announce that we are selling our bread, granola and select pastries at four New Seasons Markets: Arbor Lodge, Cedar Hills, 7 Corners and Concordia. Look for our breads on our own display at the end of the gluten-free aisle and find our pastries in the pastry case by the coffee bar. Thank you to New Seasons Market for your support and thanks to you, our customers, for being vocal about asking for what you want!

Pies are here! We are gearing up to take over the pie world with our own delicious, gluten-free pies. The pies will be offered by the slice at the bakery or by special order (with 48 hours notice, as usual) and we will be changing the selection to reflect the bounty of our region and the tastes of our customers.

As we anxiously await the arrival of the summer sun, we are baking fresh hamburger buns each Friday and Saturday in hopes of coaxing those golden rays into existence. We sell them individually and in packages of 4 for your grilling pleasure. Come on, Summer!
