Pastries

Pies
Whether it’s our pumpkin, apple or berry pie, you will delight in the taste of a crust akin to a more “traditional” pie that compliments our delicious fillings. Available seasonally.

Sticky Buns
The distinct smell of brown sugar and cinnamon rolled into our buttery pastry dough will pique your senses and satisfy your sweet tooth. Warm them up for a breakfast treat to remember.

Chocolate Cupcakes, Vanilla Cupcakes, Vegan Cupcakes, Specialty Cupcakes, you name it…we do it!
Moist, light and definitively delicious, these cupcakes do not disappoint.

Vegan Chocolate, Vanilla, Carrot, Specialty Cupcakes
With a smooth “buttercream” frosting, the cake flavor and moist texture of these cupcakes are good enough to pass as non-vegan.

Sweet Galette
We use locally grown fruits and berries as the filling to our flakey and buttery pastry dough. This dessert is one of our customer’s favorites.

Decadent Brownie
This is a brownie worthy of presenting to any die-hard chocolate connoisseur! It’s moist, and yet not too dense. Have one with a cup of coffee for the perfect after dinner treat.

Galette
Roasted tomatoes and garlic are paired with fresh basil (when in season, or with a homemade pesto) and baked into this wonderful savory bread.

Our other pastries include:
Cupcakes
Tarts
Cakes available by special advance order
Muffins
Scones
Biscotti
Seasonal/Holiday pastries

Hi folks. I’m newly diagnosed with both wheat and dairy intolerance and in the early phases of my grieving. My foodie lifestyle is getting shaken to the core. I’m so glad to find your bakery and can’t wait to make the pilgrimage down to try your wares. I have two questions. First, how long can you freeze your bread without degrading flavor? Second, do you use butter in your pastries and pie crust? Thanks so much for work you are doing!

  4. admin says:

Our bread freezes very well and will keep for several weeks if wrapped in plastic or put into a ziptop style bag.
We make a few vegan and dairy free sweets, and we are expanding our selection. We don’t make a dairy free pie crust at this time.

    Hi,
Thanks for your comment. Some folks can tell the difference between vegan and non-vegan baked goods. Many who can eat dairy and eggs may prefer the taste or texture of those products over vegan items and therefore make comparisons based on their preferences. Perhaps that’s the origin of that comment.

Hi due to food allergies I have recently cut products that contain gluten and dairy out of my diet. I have been trying to find desserts that cater to my dietary needs, do you you guys offer baked goods that don’t call for these ingredients?

  7. admin says:

Yes, most of our breads are vegan (egg and dairy free) and we offer a line of vegan sweets as well as a few other items that are dairy free but contain eggs. Of course everything is gluten free, too.

We’re going to be stopping in Portland on our way to Lincoln City in November. Can’t wait to come by and experience GF heaven! We’ll be stocking up on bread for our 10 days (ooh, and maybe a pumpkin pie?)

New Cascadia is the best gluten-free bakery in Oregon. I love all your products, especially your galettes, cupcakes, breads — well, everything. Just wanted you to know!

  10. Charlie says:

Once ‘discovered’ never forgotten! Going gluten-free had me fully exploring the freezer case for anything gf that was palatable. Ensuing disappointment moved me to make my own “bread”…until I discovered your breads at New Seasons. Wow! Your products are fabulous. So glad to find you.
